This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Right now, we don’t have a dedicated carpet space where my students can sit comfortably, which makes it difficult to create an engaging and cozy learning environment. A classroom carpet would give my students a designated spot to build community, participate in interactive lessons, and collaborate with their peers. We even enjoy doing yoga to help regulate our emotions and bodies throughout the day. This rug space would add to the peacefulness and tranquility of my classroom.
This simple addition will make a big difference in our daily routine, helping my students stay focused and engaged while making learning more enjoyable.
