This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many students are most motivated to read when they can choose books they enjoy. It's heartwarming to see students excited for our Book Giveaway events. However, it's not always easy to find texts that cover our schools diverse background and age group. Because of your donations we can provide experience through reading.

When students are engaged in self selected books, they are building vocabulary and background knowledge that will transfer over to academics and skills for their future.

We hope you’ll join us in putting books into the hands of our students and helping nurture a lifelong love of reading.
