This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My program serves over 70 kids from grades 6-12 and having high quality equipment can help in helping students engage in the sport of basketball and alleviates the financial stress from the school to get equipment and fund sports. The goal of the program is to engage students in sports especially the girls and help build sports identity in our school. Another goal for this project is to promote active and healthy lifestyles for the young athletes. providing the students with sports to have them train and keep active lifestyles. My students are great kids that work hard and deserve to have a good basketball experience in the spring.
