Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have had a rough school experience so far. Due to COVID 19, they did not have in person school for almost two years. Throughout those two years students have missed out on many opportunities to socialize with each other and celebrate in the classroom. Unfortunately, this has created a large impact on my students' social skills. I want this year to be different! With that being said, my goal for this year is to makeup for the lost time and give my students as many opportunities to socialize and celebrate each other, as well as their accomplishments! Therefore, I am throwing my students a Valentine's day kindness party on February 14th!

I want my students to be able to learn that love and kindness is something that should and will be celebrated in the classroom!

Thank you so much for supporting this project to bring some happiness, love, and celebration into my classroom. The materials in this project will help me decorate my classroom in preparation for the party and provide well deserved treats and goodie bags for each of my students on Valentine's Day!
