Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In Kindergarten we focus on showing kindness and doing kind acts for others. With February quickly approaching we model for students how to express thanks with gratitude cards to all their peers. Additionally, the Spot books added to our Social Emotional Lessons building social-emotional resiliency in children.

In addition to the lessons we have in class our Kindergarten students are encouraged to spread kindness in our school communities.

Students make signs and posters with kind words and phrases to promote kindness on campus. The magnetic clips and laminating sheets are used to create and post beautiful signs on campus. Students enjoy spreading love and kindness to others during these community-building activities.
