Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I strive to have a comfortable, fun, and inclusive classroom. My students being kind to each other helps the classroom feel safe and happy. I am requesting a variety of materials to help my students spread kindness not just in our classroom, but around the school as well.
My goal for this project is for my students to spread kindness in school and in our community.
We will be making cards for our cafeteria, custodial, and office staff. We will be painting river rocks and decorating our community by spreading kind messages. Cards and bracelets will also be made and given to our local hospital.
My students are so special. Even though they are only 5 and 6 years old, they have shown me how kind, and empathetic they can be towards others. I want them to continue spreading that love.
