Spreading Kindness One Friendship Pin at a Time

Help me give my students safety pins and seed beads to create kindness pins to share.

My Project

Part of our grade 4 social emotional learning is spreading kindness to others. Help me help my grade 4 students add a little more kindness into their immediate academic world by having them make personalized kindness pins to give out. Our school is located on a college campus. We are part of a college campus where we interact with college students on a daily basis.

Help me show my students how a small gesture of kindness through the creativity of a friendship pin will have a ripple effect on college students when we see and interact with them during the school day.

By having each of my students take a moment to make friendship pins, these pins will help spread kindness from my elementary school classroom to the college students a little up the street on the campus that we share.

Students will be creating these friendship pins to distribute to our college buddies during their exam week. This will be a token of friendship and good wishes which will benefit them as they walk to take their final exams --- knowing that they have young elementary students in their corner cheering them on.
