This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting a variety of snacks so that my students can spread love, kindness and wellness throughout our school and local community. As a class we will identify people who help others and write notes thanking them for their service to our community. Students will have the opportunity to pass out hand written notes and snacks thanking them for all they do.

This project will help my students show kindness for others and brighten people's day.

My high school students are often so caught up in social media and on their phones. I want them to take some time to communicate to others in a different way and show appreciation for people who make a difference in their lives and our school and local community.
