Spreading Cheer Makes a Big Difference!

Help me give my students the costumes and shoes needed to put on a play for the elderly.

My Project

Numerous studies have demonstrated a correlation between drama involvement and academic achievement. In addition to having higher standardized test scores than their peers who do not experience the arts, students who participate in drama often experience improved reading comprehension, maintain better attendance records, and stay generally more engaged in school. Now merge this thinking with the idea that helping others makes students feel good, and they can feel it both physically and mentally. People reported feeling more energetic, less depressed, and more self-worthy.

My project not only will help my students but will help the elderly in our area.

They will be putting on skits from Aladdin, the play to raise the spirits of the residents in a nursing home. This will help and stimulate their minds also.

We want to put on the play, Aladdin, for a local nursing home. We are in need of costumes and shoes desperately.

Please help. The more time young and old people spend together, the more both parties benefit. Children have a warm and infectious energy, which can help to bring so much joy to the elderly. In fact, research shows that connecting youths with seniors can help to boost confidence, increase communication, and improve memory.
