My Project

My students are fun-loving first graders who love learning and love being in school. They are avid readers and enjoy reading with their friends. They are all well-behaved and they are very excited about learning. They are kind and caring and help each other any chance they see an opportunity! My students are happy and energetic second graders. Some of my students come from low-income families with various cultural backgrounds and languages. The classroom is where they have the opportunity to have fun and learn at the same time.

My goal as a teacher is to make my students feel loved and special.

Many of our students come from families facing financial hardships, and opportunities to celebrate holidays like Valentine’s Day may be limited.

I want to surprise them with treats like chocolates, bracelets and pencils. Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to show my students how much they are valued and appreciated. In a time when kindness and connection are more important than ever, I want to provide a special treat to let them know how much I care about their hard work, growth, and contributions to our classroom. We're halfway through the year, and this treat will motivate them to keep going, staying focused, and doing great.

I also plan to create a warm, festive classroom atmosphere with decorations and small gifts, as well as engaging activities that teach vocabulary and celebrate the spirit of love and kindness.
