I am so excited to start the year in new and exciting ways that are safe for students and teachers.
All students are different and the teachers and I work hard to meet the needs of every learner in our building. In the last few months of school, we are striving to support independent learners and thinkers.
We are a Title I school and have a high population of students who receive free or reduced-price lunch.
My Project
The Little Spot Series of books are the perfect find for social-emotional learning for my first-grade students. I believe that we can help ease transitions and scary times for students with the help of supportive mentor texts.
I am really looking forward to sharing a Little Spot of Creativity with my students because they need to know that everyone is an artist.
Students at my school have monthly character traits taught to them throughout the year. The Little Spot collections have many of the traits we review. It would be great to have a set to use that has a common character each month!
