My Students
It is a wonderful thing that more and more students are re-entering the school setting, however, our school is struggling to provide essential supplies to all students. Every child has capabilities, talents, strengths and desires. Sometimes, all it takes is exposure, motivation, and, or, the knowledge that we believe in them. The teachers and students in our school need your help with extra supplies to meet our wonderful, growing student population. Our students care about each other, care about school, and they enjoy doing well. Let's show our students that we too care about them, believe in them, want them to do well, and are ecstatic to have them back in our building
We need your help to supply our students with some basic classroom supplies and equipment that will help them learn not only academics, but self-discipline, pride and structure.
Our student population is roughly 90% free and reduced lunch, and amazingly diverse. Our students simply cannot afford to help with supply needs. But, they all have a desire to learn, to do their personal best, and are positive, and supportive of their school. Let's help them succeed!
My Project
Our students are in need of engaging science and social curriculum that is suitable for kindergarten level students. Scholastic "Let's Find Out" magazine is both highly engaging, age appropriate, and provides a rich curriculum that all of our kindergarten students will be able to access.
STEM learning should include a lot of hands-on experiences, but it should also include quality texts and videos about science.
Scholastic "Let's Find Out" magazine will build our student's knowledge, introduce key vocabulary, and encourage inquiry.
The benefits our students will receive from these supplies will be unmeasurable.
