Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These materials will be used to help our students be successful by reading decodable books which align with our curriculum. Also, SPOT is a great way to include read-alouds, lessons, and interactive participation through plushies and expressing our emotions. SPOT also teaches us how to identify and use those emotions in a healthy way.

Our students with disabilities struggle with SEL and empathy, so these resources will be immensely helpful!

Teaching how to keep our emotions in check is a much-needed life skill that our students will need throughout their life.
