This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students look forward to their Yoga and Mindfulness sessions. These interlocking floor mats would work perfectly as a substitute for the full length yoga mats. Each child will have their own space to do the floor work and meditation on these colorful, cheery mats.
Our school and classes has grown tremendously in size with an influx of migrant students and space has become limited.
I want to continue to provide ALL students with opportunities to connect with their minds and bodies using these interlocking floor mats. Also, students would be able to interlock their mats when it comes time for group work.
