Sports Supplies and Games

Help me give my students basketball, footballs, modeling clay, drawing paper, colored pencils, and an assortment of supplies for an after-school program.

My Students

Our school is located in the inner city with underprivileged families striving for a better life. Single parents, grandparents, and older siblings continue to do their very best to instill a better way of living for their families. They face many challenges, but that doesn't impede them from wanting to learn or stop them from dreaming big.

We are 95% African American, 2% Haitian American, 2% Hispanic, and 1% Caucasian, with 97% of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch.

Teachers create a safe, fun, and empowering classroom for our students to help them thrive in all areas of their lives. I love my students and spend most of my out-of-the-classroom time developing projects to enhance their learning and well-being.

My Project

Our students are fun-loving and could use additional basketball and footballs to use in our after-school program which will build social skills, and provide a positive use of time.

We also need art supplies, colored pencils, modeling clay, and manila paper to draw on.

The stencils will help facilitate their creativity, Craft Rubbing Plates, are fun to use and the Paint Effect Stampers will help us make DonorsChoose.org thank you notes.

Johnson & Johnson All-Purpose First Aid Kit is an important thing to have on hand right near where the students are in case of an accident.

In addition, we could use a bag of rubber bands to make Chinese jump ropes that are a game from my childhood.

Last but not least the Snack Packs and Anderson Peanut Butter Filled Pretzels will fill hungry tummies and taste good.
