This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Donating snacks for students from low-income families at our Title 1 school before sports participation offers numerous benefits. Firstly, nutritious snacks provide essential energy, enhancing students' performance and focus during activities. Healthy options, such as fruits, granola bars, and nuts, help maintain blood sugar levels, preventing fatigue and irritability. Additionally, sharing snacks fosters a sense of community, encouraging teamwork and camaraderie among students who may not have access to healthy food at home. This initiative teaches the importance of healthy eating habits, reinforcing good nutrition choices. Lastly, providing snacks shows support and care from the school or community, boosting students' morale and motivation as they engage in physical activities.
