Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I will be teaching 2nd grade dual language Spanish students. My students will benefit from integrating math into their physical education time. The Skillastics Be Fit 2 Learn game has physical activities with mathematical practices. They will practice skills like addition, subtraction and money while doing physical activity.
My 2nd grade students will also benefit from having the sensory path brain breaks in the classroom.
The posters will provide guides for students to have a designated spot in the classroom to take a brain break.
My students will also make good use of the jump ropes.
