it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I want to give my students so much because they have so little. Most of the students I work with come from homes below the poverty line, and I want them to have the chance to experience something that can influence their lives. Some of these students don't have access to the simplest supplies at home.
I want them to be exposed to as much as possible so that they don't fall behind.
Even though they have so much going against them, they bounce back each time and come to school ready to learn. They look to our school as a place to escape their rough home lives and that makes me want to provide them with everything I can.
My Project
It's challenging to store fitness and sports equipment at our school because we lack storage space. Also, not having a secure storage locker for our student's sports equipment can lead to equipment going missing. So far, we have been creative with what we have to secure our students' sports equipment.
To increase our team's sports equipment's storage space and safety, we are looking to get storage lockers on wheels, which will make it easy to transport and store sports equipment safely behind a lock and key.
I know our baseball and softball players will be thankful to know that their equipment will be safe in a secure storage locker. For example, our students need to secure their baseball equipment because they don't have enough space in their lockers for large items. Some of our students don't even have a locker, which is why we are looking for a solution.
