Sports Books, Animal Books, and Organization-- Oh My!

My students need books, computer organization, and cases for our classroom tablets in order to enhance reading centers even more and grow our brains every day!

My Students

"I grew 2 levels!" A student exclaimed. Students cannot wait to share their growth with their peers and teachers at our school. Our students attend a zoned school in East Nashville where 100% receive free lunch, all students walk or are driven to school, and parents and families are eager to be a part of our community!

My students are full of love!

I cannot wait to see each of their faces in the morning. Everyday we start with literacy centers, go to specials (yoga, gym, music, or math intervention), whole group reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. Every day they grow socially and academically to be their best self.

My Project

We are requesting new and exciting books. Now that Ms. Hunt and I know our students better we know that animals, science and sports are some of their favorite books to read. Many of these books we have are not on level so students are just looking at pictures which doesn't help them to grow as a reader. We are hoping to get this project funded so that our students can learn more when they are reading independently during centers. We have also asked for organization in order to organize our classroom laptops used for centers. The last thing we asked for is tablet cases. We currently have tablets but we want to keep them safe by having tablets for them!
