This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Transitional Kindergarten students are full of energy, curiosity, and a strong desire to explore the world around them. As they develop their gross motor skills, they need plenty of opportunities to run, jump, and move their bodies in safe and purposeful ways. Movement not only helps them build strength and coordination, but it also supports self-regulation and focus, key components for successful learning.

To support their growth, I’m requesting a donation of a Froggy Jumper trampoline and a set of hula hoops.

The Froggy Jumper would give my students a safe and fun way to release energy and practice body control, while the hula hoops encourage active play both indoors and outdoors. These tools will help my students engage their bodies, develop strength, and improve focus through play-based learning.
