This project is to help provide my students with some useful supplies for them to work on their animal research project in science class. We learn about external structures, internal organs, bones, and muscles of an animal. We also learn about animal adaptations and the habitats they live in. The whole project consists of the students choosing an animal, researching it to fill in an organizer, then using that organizer to create a slideshow they present to the class.
The best part is the shoebox diorama project!
My students love creating their animal shoebox diorama! My students use a shoebox to create the habitat of their animal and then showcase their animal front and center. To do this, they need lots of random supplies, like clay, felt, rocks, sand, leaves, paint, cotton balls, tissue paper, and other things to help them create their diorama. This project will provide them with some things they could use to create their dioramas!
