My Students
My students are creative, young citizens who are diverse in their ethnic background. They come to my classroom full of life and energy. Their homes and families are rich in culture and tradition. My students represent a diverse racial group with family from at least two other continents and a few other countries. While my students are creative and bring so many ideas to the table, they often lack the necessary resources to provide the opportunities, tools, activities, etc. to explore their ideas.
My Project
These various types of paint will give my students a wide range of painting and otherwise artistic experiences. They will have stronger art work for annual county and district exhibits. My students will have a range of colors as well, which will allow them to choose several different subjects for their compositions, everything from landscapes to portraits along with abstract and non-objective works. These paints will help me teach my full curriculum and give students, my young artists, opportunities to explore many different art media. They will learn about the different characteristics of the paints and be able to compare and contrast techniques used with each type of paint.
