Spinning Wheel Of Motivation

Help me give my students an exciting motivational tool to develop proper time management skills within the classroom.

My Project

First graders have a lot of energy and inquiring minds that need some directions. Thankfully, they also enjoy challenges and goals. It will be important to demonstrate the classroom expectations and then recognize them for achieving the exceptions.

I will use the spinning wheel to set specific goals for the students to accomplish such as

- putting your backpack away correctly and starting your morning bins.

- Walking in the hallways safely and respectfully.

- Using kind words and actions towards others

There are 12 wedgies to fill on the wheel so, I will need a variety of small rewards available for them to win. I will also need to create laminated individual tracking charts for each student. So, they can learn how to track their own accomplishments as the year progresses.
