As a prekindergarten STEM teacher, I am always looking for ways to engage my young learners in various science concepts in open-ended, engaging ways. This spinning tops kit will help me do just that! It is designed to help children experiment with inertia, symmetry, and motion.
Using one bolt as an axis, my students will be able to build different combinations of shapes and colors, then spin the tops to make cool optical illusions, patterns, and sounds!
The weirder the top, the bigger the surprise when it’s set in motion. Other creations and creatures will emerge, so they will be able to explore those too. There are no instructions, only playful experimentation!
