My Students
These children come from nothing and all they want is to be successful and have fun doing it. This is my third year teaching. When I first entered my school, I was shocked with the background of the majority of my students. Many of these students come from nothing and have very limited opportunities outside of the classroom. The students in my school don't have the chance to participate in a variety of sports, outdoor activities, or recreational activities. Many of these students have a very limited background on healthy habits, including nutrition and exercise. After quickly noticing this trend among my students, I realized that I need to be that person who gives the the tools and opportunities to become knowledgable about being healthy.
My Project
Spike ball is a new sport/activity that has just come out and it encourages moving, socializing, and working as a team. There are dramatic leaps of development being made in physical education and sports and I want to, as a PE teacher, be able to stay up to date on trends and games.
Students deserve to be active and have fun while doing so.
This product would allow students to be introduced to a new sport/game and be encouraged to be active and have fun. I can honestly say that students would be excited to play this! Anything helps! Thank you for your time.
