Spike A Success: By Updating FIRST Robotic Team

Help me give my students a updated LEGO Spike Prime kit for our FIRST LEGO League robotics team.

My Students

Our FIRST LEGO Robotics Team students are dedicated, eager, excited, patience, diverse group of students. They meet twice a week after school between 1.5 and 3 hours each meeting, sometimes more, to prepare for a FIRST LEGO League robotics competition.

My Project

Our FIRST LEGO League robotics team is in its 7th season with a LEGO EV3 robot. EV3 Classroom software does not work well with the students Chromebooks and EV3 has been obsoleted to LEGO Spike Prime. EV3 Classroom has become a challenge for the students focusing more on technical problems and not coding or robot design. The Spike Prime will allow students to focus on the projects and missions of the FIRST LEGO League competition season. The EV3 robot will continue to be using as a trainer and small coding challenges and the Spike Prime robot for competition.
