My Students

I am privileged to teach about fifty outstanding ELL and traditional students math and science. My students are very inquisitive, creative, and extremely clever. We are a Title I school where over three quarter of the population receives free or reduced lunch. Even though my school is very culturally diverse, we are extremely competitive and we strive for excellence daily.

Willing, ready, and always trying to stand out among the rest, we need more knowledge with financial literacy in our classroom.

We are shining stars and would love to shine with or above the rest.

My Project

I am a seasoned teacher that needs spicing up for my scholars. In an attempt to keep up with the most innovative strategies and teaching methods, I would like to attend the SDE Differentiated Instruction Conference in July to reach my ELL, traditional and special needs students.

With 20 plus years of service, I am an avid learner and need more tools to add to my teaching toolbox.

I work extremely hard to teach the whole child and meet each child individual learning style.

This will allow me an opportunity to be up to date with differentiating teaching to a all my scholars. Also, I can collaborate with other teachers across the country and dialogue specific challenges I have faced.

I am definitely looking forward to filling my toolbox to better serve my students.
