My Project
I teach fifth grade students in Houston, Texas. I love technology and would love to introduce my students to Sphero mini with a mini golf project. I also teach an after-school Space Sciences club where these would be invaluable in the study of other planets and space travel.
After learning the Sphero basics, my students will use Sphero minis to create a golf course based on the surface of Mars.
This project will enable my students to combine planetary research, design and engineering, art, and coding. This can also be converted to a social studies activity by making the golf course based on landforms, battles of American Wars, etc.
There are countless uses for the Sphero Minis in a fifth grade classroom. Please help me bring these to our campus.
