My Project
This project was created to help me provide systematic spelling and reading instruction for individual students.
Spellography will allow me to provide effective ways to teach reading and spelling that is explicit and systematic while following the latest research in reading.
The curriculum and workbooks explore phoneme awareness, sound-spelling associations, parts of speech, morphology, and figures of speech. This program is research based and well supported by the Science of Reading.
Working with older students involves a more intense level of urgency to provide the appropriate instruction that will help them become successful readers and writers.
This curriculum is designed for students in 4th and 5th grade to provide systematic instruction in order for students to improve their reading, writing and oral language.
