My Students

My classroom is full of bright, lively third graders who love to learn. Many of my students come to school hungry for knowledge. I strive to engage all students in the power of learning and create lifelong learners who recognize the importance of learning and reading daily.

My students love to read and write and we do so every day.

We are changing the future, one word, and one page at a time.

My Project

My students are avid readers and writers, and they are eager to grow leaps and bounds in their literacy this year. Learning to read and write requires a multifaceted approach, and we are in need of honing our spelling and sight words. Building this background knowledge will allow students to read and write higher-level texts and appreciate a wider variety of both fiction and nonfiction books. Spelling practice will also help students to express their unique ideas and stories more easily, so we can continue to learn from our future leaders!
