This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My middle school students in reading intervention need supplies such as writing paper, fat pencils, a boggle game, other spelling games, fruits, and snacks to keep them going and fidget so that they can overcome their anxiety.

My students are far behind their classmates in spelling and handwriting because of the pandemic and the time lost in the classroom when they were in primary grades.

Now they’re in middle school, and It is crucial that we give them the help they need so that they can be successful in life. They should not be illiterate. We can help them, even though they feel embarrassed about their situation that they cannot spell or write legibly.
