My Project

Our students are highly motivated to demonstrate their athletic prowess! This basketball goal will give them the motivation to think about their phonics rules and morphology! A correct spelling of a grade-level academic vocabulary word will earn them the chance to "take their best shot" at the hoop. It will supplement a book (provided to each student in attendance by New Worlds Reading Initiative) about Chris Paul who was resilient and overcame obstacles to become an All-Star NBA player. Your help will provide us with a wonderful motivational tool for a new twist on the spelling bee!!! Thank you in advance!
