Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I will use these items to provide speech and language services in DPS to support students from Pre-K to 8th grade. These items will allow students to learn in a fun and interactive way while providing accommodations to various learning styles. The articulation materials will allow me to efficiently target words that will support growth in speech sound production. The mouth puppet will allow me to demonstrate mouth positioning for speech sounds using a fun visual model. The lakeshore game will allow me to target language comprehension in a fun and less intimidating way for older students.
