Speech Therapy Must Haves

My Project

The items requested will allow the speech therapy department to create materials for our students with communication disabilities to help meet their communication goals. Over the past few years, some students had a lack of access to face-to-face direct speech therapy due to COVID-19 restrictions. It is imperative that we continue to individualize therapy activities and techniques to help these students meet their communication goals. These students learn in such a variety of ways, and we are always creating unique and individualized activities and materials for our students. The toys will be used for a variety of sensory bin and pretend play activities, to address speech and language deficits. The craft supplies will be used as reinforcements for the students during speech sessions, as many of our students are motivated by making creations that they can take home and use to practice their skills. The supplies will also help the therapists create therapeutic materials.
