Speech Teletherapy Success

My Students

Remember a time when you were a kid and no one understood what you said because your words never came clearly or not at all? I want my students to be able to communicate effectively with positive social skills, and learning language through a virtual setting.

My students with special needs are silly, bright, playful, and chatty students.

They are also diverse, English Learners, children of recent immigrants, or live in poverty. Some of my students have so much to say, but sometimes their message does not come out so clearly. Other students are quiet but are learning but not sure how to put everything together. They all have a range of abilities and have a love for learning through books and games.

My Project

As our district has decided to keep schools closed due to COVID-19, many of my students with special needs require additional teaching materials to make speech therapy through a virtual platform engaging and successful.

With digital resources from Teachers Pay Teacher, my students can better engage in their speech and language lessons at home through a virtual platform.

We all know that communicating on Zoom is not the most natural way to communicate, but we need to make the most of what we have during these extraordinary times. We don't want our students with special needs to fall behind, especially in their communication skills, which is an important life skill. Your donation will help our students to be successful communicators at home.
