This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have been trying for years to have an old monitor within the school to be given to the speech department to no avail. Currently, my speech students are still in the Stone Age when they come to speech. A dry erase board is very outdated in the time of iPads, tablets, and laptops. It is difficult in providing enough visuals to each student.
This television monitor will greatly help my students access more vocabulary words with visual supports, interactive powerpoints, and interactive game play as a motivating reward!
In addition, they will have a plethora of visuals available via the monitor to clarify any vocabulary, texts, etc.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
