My Project
Hi! I'm an elementary-based speech language pathologist working with PreK-5 children in a Title I school in Chinatown, NYC. The students I work with come primarily from low socioeconomic status backgrounds and many are learning English for the first time. Additionally, many have diagnoses of expressive and receptive language delays, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and speech sound disorders that impact their ability to access their classroom curriculum. These learning resource materials would greatly help support the development of communication skills - a fundamental human need for all. Every child deserves a voice.
