My Project
I am a first year 7th and 8th grade intervention specialist in Cleveland, OH. Many of my students do not recieve enough nourishment at home and rely on school breakfasts and lunches. Only in the first week, I have noticed many of my students' off task or negative behavior can be quelled - even just slightly - by something as simple as a snack.
The donation of these snacks to my class would help provide for one of their most basic needs so that they may focus on their academics and have the highest chance of success.
I want to provide a safe and enriching environment for my students. Food is a way I can do that.
I appreciate your consideration of my project. If you choose to donate, please know you will be improving the school experience of fifteen 7th and 8th grade boys and girls on the East side of Cleveland.
