This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I'm requesting will help my students who receive special education services engage with reading and math in concrete ways. They will help my students be more engaged and develop greater confidence when tackling problem-solving tasks and reading skills. My goals for this project are to provide my students new ways to engage with reading and math skills in concrete ways. Furthermore, items such as the social stories book will help my students who struggle with social skills to better interact with their peers and to thrive. My students are hard-working and caring. They come to school each day ready to learn despite any challenges put in front of them.
