This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Preschool students with special needs need multiple ways to access the curriculum and learn, and most of them are visual learners. Easels are not just used for art, which enhances the students' fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination, but can also be used for incorporating the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) into the classroom, facilitating socialization among peers (especially for children on the spectrum), promoting independence, self-expression, and sensory exploration, and supporting cognitive and visual development.

This easel will be a great addition to my classroom, especially since my students love doing art.

It is a versatile tool that can be used in various classroom areas to support students' holistic development.
