Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a wonderful group of sixth graders who are excited to come to school and learn. They always bring a smile to my face and I absolutely love learning with them. This group is very creative and love to show off their creativity any chance they get and in any subject.
My students LOVE to adventure outside of the classroom with their Scientist Journals, make sketches, and take notes on the world around them, but the regular paper journals get torn up very easily.
My class is requesting a class set of five start interactive journals that have a hardcover and good-quality colored pens to make spectacular Scientist Journals. These notebooks would stand up to the wear and tear of their adventures. The pages are much thicker so markers will not bleed through. Also, these journals have plastic covers so they are much more durable than regular paper covers. The colored pens will provide good-quality writing utensils for them and allow them to show of their creativity and learning in color!
