This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My sweet Montessori students love to learn with concrete objects.

Having a small scale anatomical model of the human body will allow them to see where human organs are located and how they fit inside our bodies.

Other items include small replicas of the animals they love and REAL insects to learn about and observe.

Montessori uses a three part card system where the children lay out cards with words and pictures. They are learning about object matching and reading with every lesson. Having concrete objects to manipulate will add to their growing interest in the human body and the world we live in.
