My Students

My second graders are a delightful group of caring, creative, and inquisitive students. Our school is a Title 1 school, with 71% economically disadvantaged. Most of the students receiving free or reduced-rate lunch. Unfortunately, with budget cuts and an uncertain year ahead, we will need items to keep our learning environment clean, as well as engaging.

These curious second graders come in with smiles and are eager to learn!

Some of my students will be fully remote, while others will participate in hybrid learning, both in my classroom, as well as online. I will strive to support my students academically, as well as meet their social-emotional needs from the pandemic.

My Project

These items will help keep our classroom clean and organized. With the new COVID regulations, the individual scissors will really come in handy! The file folders will help us keep things organized, especially since some students will be learning remotely. The dry erase sheets will be extremely beneficial for practice after learning new mathematical concepts. These will be used in class, and remotely, as needed.

This new school year will present unprecedented challenges in both keeping the classroom sanitized, but also in supporting students that will be in and out of in-person learning.
