My students need items that will help make our upcoming year successful for us. My students and I will have some very special students in our classroom this year.

My Students
Our school educates students in grades K-5. We are a close community with excellent students, parents, and teachers. Our goal is to teach each child to read and become an successful person.
I teach in a Title I school in Unionville, Tennessee with over 700 students.
My goal as a teacher is to make school a fun place for children to come to each day. I love each of my students as if they were my own children. Each year I am always excited working with children with special needs. This coming up school year I will be facing a new challenge. I will be having a student with autism. I look forward to learning new teaching techniques that will help children with disabilities. I am also a mother of two children with special needs which has helped me to become a better teacher.
My Project
All students want to have a great school year. The materials our classroom has requested will help it be a great year. We will begin our year by showing a video on autism and how all children learn differently. We are trying to provide as many things as possible to make our 2016-2017 year the best yet.
Students will be able to focus on academics more if we provide materials needed for special circumstances.
Your generous donations will help provide the materials we need to have an outstanding school year. The Hush Buddy Hearing Protector will help our classmate with autism tolerate the sound we have during on Guided Math rotations. We will be able to use Minute Math Flash Cards to help us develop better multiplication skills. These items will change our students' lives for the better because they will love school and understand all children learn at a different pace.
