Special Students With Special Needs Need Things!

Help me give my students items they need to have a more pleasant school environment such as a Human Body kit, classroom magnetic letters kit, and a writing center.

My Students

Students at the alternative school I work at are very eager to learn! They are inquisitive, fun, energetic, and smart! The school is a special needs school filled with amazing, creative students. They learn and apply their learning on a daily basis. I am truly blessed to be able to work with such amazing students. We are a Title I school and any donation is so much appreciated!

My class has 6 stupendous learners all in high school.

We are working on core academics, transition, and a school garden.

My Project

These materials will make a huge difference! Engaging books, snacks to keep them going through the day, books and materials to make math fun and exciting, and books to help with social emotional learning and creating an environment of kindness! I am a huge advocate on teaching kindness to all learners.

These books about kindness will be a huge asset in the classroom to teach the students about compassion, being kind, not cyber bullying and other types of bullying.

The students will be so excited to work on academics with these amazing resources!

We have very little at the school, so new materials will be so very much appreciated!

The school doesn’t provide snacks, the students get so hungry throughout the day - nutritious snacks will help hold them over until lunch so the students can concentrate on learning. The cookbook listed will help us prepare the snacks in the classroom, and teach the students so they can in-turn cook them at home. We also use items from our school garden that we are growing to prepare healthy snacks.

The math materials will be a great addition to the math lessons and give the students some hands on learning for better engagement.
