My Students

Our school is in a low income area and our resources are limited. We see students who come in without their supplies and wanting to learn. As a teacher is hard to see these students trying so hard to accomplish their goals without the things that they need.

I work with students with various disabilities.

Some of my students are functioning several levels below grade level. However each of them are eager to learn. I would love to see them be able to learn in the way they need to, with the materials that will excite them, and help them function in their every day lives.

My Project

With my students, I have forms and information that I must keep confidential. If a form is no longer needed, I cannot just throw it away - I must destroy it. The shredder will allow me to ensure I am keeping my student's information confidential. I can also use the laptop to ensure that all digital documentation is also secured.

With the pandemic, safety and sanitizing is a top priority.

I will be able to use these cleaning materials to help my students stay safe and healthy when they come to school. Our school requires us to sanitize in between groups, and the extra supplies will ensure I can do this.
