My students need four dance video games to engage their senses and get them up and moving!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. T.'s classroom raised $182

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Having special needs will not stop my students from dancing!!
I teach Adapted Physical Education to K-12 students who all have special needs.
I have secondary students at a completely Special Education Center, and Elementary students at an integrated school that is now half special education students, and half general education students.
My Project
With these dance games, my students get the best exercise in disguise. Using the video games my students are motivated to get up and keep moving along to the dancers on the screen. When actively involved in the dance video, they forget that they are exercising. Even the students who never want to exercise, are up and sweating!!
By being more actively involved throughout a whole PE period, my students participate in cardio activity to improve their health.
They will also learn important social cues, of how to properly compete in similar video games, so they can play appropriately outside of school.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
