This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

An Early Childhood Special Education Classroom is the happiest and most rewarding place on earth. As you walk into the classroom you see children working, playing, and laughing together. A quiet classroom is not the goal for this teacher. I want to hear the children talking and sharing ideas.

Talking and working together is a skill that is taught using highly motivating materials.

The large construction set that I have requested will encourage the children to work together to build structures that they can climb into for dramatic play. The smaller construction set is the perfect size for the students to build homes for the little magnetic people.
