Special Items for Special Needs

Help me give my students items to help them find success. Being disabled is not easy, but with modifications and accommodations they can be successful.

My Project

My classroom consists of student with special needs. Many of my students are ADHD, and require specialized equipment. I also have students with Autism and they often have sensory issues. Special needs students require much more than a typical general education student.

Considering the needs of my students they need accomodations to find success.

My ADHD students will benefit from wiggle seats, as well as the fidget bands for their feet. Students with ADHD struggle with controlling their bodies, these items will hopefully help them receive the input that they need.

Many times special needs students come from homes that are lacking support. Often times my students come to school with empty bellies. I am asking for snacks and breakfast bars for them. Having a full belly with encourage students to feel better and ready to learn.
