My students are elementary age, Kindergarten to 6th grade, special education students with mild to moderate disabilities.

They are unique and bright students that thrive on new experiences. They live in a suburban area of Oklahoma with mild poverty. The use of technology will boost their learning potential.

My Project

My students need help to build basic math skills. They require fun, motivating methods to reinforce skills. Individualizing to each student's unique need is a challenge. A math center that would include an iPad mini would allow repetitive practice while keeping them engaged.

My students need access to technology to improve their math skills.

The use of an iPad mini in a dedicated math center would allow individualized intervention. With the multitude of math apps available, students would easily engage in learning.
